Non-urgent advice: Extended Access & Out of Hours

In a genuine emergency you should call 999 (Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute as an emergency)

You should use the NHS 111 service if you urgently need medical help or advice but it is not life-threatening situation

Between 18:30 to 08:00 the following morning on weekdays, all weekend and bank holidays telephone 111 to seek medical advice.

You may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre (PCC) located at St Pancras Hospital, The Whittington Hospital or Homerton Hospital to obtain the required treatment.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Note Every weekday morning between 8:00 to 8:45 am if you need to speak to a doctor and can not wait until surgery is open please call surgery number or Care UK on 020 7388 5800. Please remember this is an emergency service only.

Between 18:30 to 20:00 hours on weekdays and 8:00 to 20:00 hours at the weekend calls will be diverted to I:Hub services to be offered appointment or advice.

i-Hub

This is a primary care service that enables locally registered NHS patients to see and Islington GP or nurse for routine care at a time or place that suits them.

You can request to see a Doctor or Nurse on the following occasions using i-HUB:

Monday-Friday – 18:30-20:00

Saturday-Sunday- 08:00-20:00

To access these appointments (if available), please call the surgery Monday-Friday during 08:00-18:30 or even after 18:30.
